This web site was created as a public forum to allow citizens to help each other save what little green space is left. You are welcome to participate. Eventually we want to expand this forum to our neighbors in Pasco and Hillsborough counties. They are also not immune to the craziness of over development.

Are you aware of new density increasing plans to rezone?
Due to vigilance of fellow citizens, we have saved ourselves from two Walmarts that were to be build on environmentally sensitive lands (one planned directly on Lake Tarpon, another on an estuary preserve off the Gandy Blvd Bridge). We have saved hundreds of acres from development such as the beautiful McMullen property located next the Girl-Scout camp Wani Lani on the Gulf of Mexico. Clam Bayou would be high-rises by now if we didn't step in and rescue the property from developers!
Help us save more land from condos and high-density development by posting any information you have on our discussion board!
